About us

At Capio Vårdcentral Almö, we combine the cohesion and decisiveness of a small team with the broad expertise of our experienced colleagues. We are located at Almö center on the beautiful island of Tjörn, just a stone's throw from the Tjörn Bridge with good commuting opportunities. With around 5600 registered patients and over 25 dedicated employees in various roles, we gather under one roof – healthcare center, BVC, and rehab – creating safe and quality care in every encounter.

Your role

Here you will meet a varied patient clientele, close collaboration between professions, and short decision-making paths. We value joy at work, continuity, and collegial support.

In your daily work with us, you will have a varied job involving the investigation and treatment of patients of all ages. You will also be responsible for your own patient list. We work a lot in a cross-professional manner both during planned and acute visits. The work also includes mobile primary care with home visits to patients as well as supervision of AT, ST doctors, and students.

With us, doctors work in an open landscape, making it easy to connect with your colleagues. As a doctor, you will have the opportunity for close collaboration with both psychologists and rehab. You will have a close collaboration with the rehab coordinator in our well-functioning sick leave process.

You will enjoy a positive, unpretentious, and developing work environment where engagement and proximity to decision-making are self-evident. Your voice counts with us, and you have great opportunities to influence both your own and the organization's development. We have the security of a larger group that provides access to national expertise, training, and exchange of experiences – combined with the small and personal touch on site.

We also offer:

  • Collective agreements and attractive benefits

  • Present management and engaged colleagues

  • Competence development and supervision – both internally and externally

  • Wellness grants

To thrive with us, we believe that you:

  • Have a genuine patient focus and put each person's needs at the center.

  • Are curious, engaged, and want to contribute to improvements – both for patients and for the organization.

  • Enjoy both independent work and see the strength in collaborating in a team.

  • Can easily adapt to different types of patient meetings and enjoy variety in your workday.

  • Take responsibility for your own development and actively contribute to maintaining high quality in care.

  • Are confident in your professional role, meet challenges with an open mind, and see opportunities where others see obstacles.

  • Have a positive team spirit, take initiative, and support colleagues.

  • Value accuracy, flexibility, and have a warm and professional approach.

Do you recognize yourself? Then we look forward to your application!
